This hard-working trail shoe has been updated and features Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug, for improved grip and stopping power on loose terrain. A full 15 grams lighter, the fifth edition of Speedgoat is characterized by significantly greater grip and numerous improvements for unsurpassed performance. The weight reduction is also due to a smaller number of reinforcements, which at the same time leads to a more sustainable structure. A dynamic textile component that wraps the toe and forefoot gives exceptional flexibility and comfort when pushing off, as well as being welcoming in case of swollen feet, a feature already present in Mafate Speed 3, Evo Mafate 2 and Evo Speedgoat. Refinements to the tongue consolidate the feeling of greater comfort at the top of the foot, near the ankle where friction can occur. The midsole compound is even lighter than before, ensuring the smooth wearing experience that distinguishes HOKA without reducing the height of the outsole.
